About the Club

SF Seals is a youth soccer club in San Francisco with over 30 years of experience in player development. They offer programs for various age groups, focusing on skills growth, game strategy, and overall team development, following U.S. Soccer Development Academy guidelines. The club aims to prepare players for higher levels of play and emphasizes core values like player development, love of the game, respect, effort, and positivity. They have a history of developing talented players, with many going on to play professionally. The club also offers additional programs like microsoccer, summer camps, and futsal series. The SF Seals MLS Next program provides an elite training environment for top youth soccer players in San Francisco, focusing on development and competition at the highest level. They are the only MLS Next club in San Francisco offering a low-cost playing model, aiming to increase opportunities for talented players regardless of economic background. The program includes multiple training sessions per week, competition in MLS Next leagues, and other programs like speed and agility training. In 2025, SF Seals will field six MLS Development teams from U13 to U19, along with a U12 pre-MLSNext group. The club emphasizes technical skills, physical and mental strength, and a positive, supportive culture with experienced coaches.
