About the Club

Salem Sabres FC is a youth soccer organization based in Salem, Virginia. Established in 2006, it operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing instructional and competitive youth soccer opportunities that foster character, community, teamwork, and a love for the game. The club serves boys and girls through club teams ranging from U11 to U19, emphasizing skill development and competitive play. In the spring, it offers a co-ed Sabres Academy for ages 7-9 and Sabres Junior Academy for ages 4-6 to introduce younger players to the sport. Year-round technical and sports performance training programs are available for all age groups, supporting ongoing player growth. The club's magenta and black logo, featuring crossed swords, symbolizes strength, unity, passion, and determination. Salem Sabres FC distinguishes itself through community engagement, including annual donations to the local animal shelter and volunteer efforts at events like the Ironman 70.3 race in Roanoke. Its travel program includes dedicated boys and girls teams across multiple age divisions, promoting a pathway for competitive advancement.
